Shower Sustainably
Much like our own wellbeing, looking after the planet needs care and respect.
With nature and the great outdoors having such a positive impact on our mental and emotional wellbeing, it is important we take conscious and mindful steps to protect the very environment we source our ingredients from, that allow us to make our pure essential oil blends everyone has come to know and love.
By working towards a more sustainable future, we can hope to maintain our natural environments for generations to come.
Our Shower Oils Care for the Planet
From our packaging to ingredients sourcing, we have ensured our NEW Shower Oils help protect the world we live in.
Our Shower Oil bottles are made from 50% Post-Consumer-Recycled (PCR) materials and are also 100% recyclable.
We've already saved 500kg of recycled plastic used in the making of our oil-to-milk cleansers, and every Shower Oil bottle made saves the equivalent weight of one single-use drinks bottle.
Our sustainability vision is part of who we are: from glass bottles, local production, Forest Stewardship Council approved paper and a move to post-consumer-recycled plastics where we can.
With a vision to minimise our packaging and maximise our use of post-consumer-recycled and recyclable materials, we aim to ensure none of our packaging ends up in oceans, lakes and rivers, helping to achieve a waste-free future.
We Source Our Ingredients Carefully
We care deeply about the ingredients we use and how we deliver them to you.
Each of our Shower Oils contain our 100% natural essential oils plus only 10 ingredients: including our biodegradable cleansing agent. We always source with care, with a formulation free from SLS and parabens & 100% vegan.
From the Plant to the Bottle
We source from nature and give back to nature, always seeking to create the lowest possible footprint.
We are able to trace our supply chain down to the plant’s growers, sourcing directly from landowners and harvesters themselves.
Our Sustainability Commitments
We take a mindful approach to the origins, workers wellbeing and certification of all our oils and botanicals, with a commitment to evolving our support for global community projects.
For example, our suppliers from which we source our prized Sandalwood is 50% owned by local communities of the Gibson desert region, in Western Australia.
Their quality of material is second to none, with responsible production of Sandalwood that is even tracked using GPS. The management, harvesting and production of the oil requires extraordinary patience and confidence, as the trees only start producing high quality oil from and age of 17 years onwards.
The Butterfly Mark
We are proud to have the Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark, which is awarded to luxury brands showing a clear commitment to sustainability through all areas of the business and demonstrating a positive social and environmental impact.
As a company with the wellbeing of others and our planet at our very core, we are continuing on this journey of sustainability, pledging to make improvements to our own environmental sustainability as much as we can.
